There are four themes underpinning the Early Years Foundation Stage. These are; A Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environments, which together equal the fourth theme of Learning and Development.

We understand that every child is unique and as such we observe and plan to ensure that the individual child's needs are met. We value and respect all children and their families equally.

We believe that positive relationships encourage children to learn and to be strong and independent. We have a key worker system which encourages positive relationships between the children, parents and the nursery. We have a warm and friendly environment, which enables the children to foster a sense of belonging.
